well we have arrived safely back in Australia. We were home just in time to have Christmas with our families. I am writing to thank you for the time in Turkey. It was the most wonderful place in which to complete our journey. Our first impressions of Istanbul with you in the car were so positive and they never wavered. We were blessed with good weather but also blessed to have the services of Aytekan. He was so patient with the children and such good company for Bill and I. The tour you organised for us was perfect and each day was well spent and truly a joy. The hotel was just right and the driver also very kind. We always felt perfectly safe in his hands.

Bill enjoyed his time so much that he is already talking of a return visit to see more of the countryside. But I think first we must return to our work and send our children back to school!

Please our extend our most sincere thanks to all those involved in our tour and if ever yourself or Aytekan find the opportunity to visit Australia we would certainly welcome you and be pleased to show our part of the world. Sincerely and with best wishes for the coming year

In fact, I just gave Keith and Gini Wisbaum a framed pair of photographs (to thank them for introducing us to you!) of the Sultanahmet Mosque across the Marmara at 5:30 AM – a shot I took from your car when you first picked us up – and the beautiful domes inside. We also think fondly of your idyllic inn – your delightful wife and staff, the wonderful food, the sounds of the village in the morning, and the beauty of the countryside. I’m glad you’re enjoying it yourself for a change!

We're back in New York after a fine flight, and amid all that's going on, John and I think every day of our Instanbul stay with such pleasure. And you are such a large part of having made our time there so enjoyable. We know how lucky we were to find you.

You may be interested to know what happened with my ATM card. My bank informed me that, after permitting withdrawals of YLT600 two times and YLT50 once--all on that Sunday after Finansbank's machine did not return my card--they blocked the card. Happily for me, they refunded the money to me, after I made it clear that the withdrawals were fraudulent. But they couldn't tell me why they allowed my card to be used for three withdrawals by the person who got hold of it at Finansbank, when they did not let me make even one earlier in the day.

If you happen to be passing by the Yesil Ev, it might be good to tell them that the person they called at Finansbank told them a lie about destroying any cards they found in their ATM machines at the end of the day!

But, thanks to you, none of this clouds our wonderful memories of such a great time in Istanbul. Thanks again, and we look forward to planning our next trip to Turkey, definitely through you!

My wife and I had such a wonderful time at the Ephesus Boutique Hotel in September, 2006; we are so appreciative of your gracious hospitality, and learned so much on our tours, we have decided to seek your assistance once more for our travels.

We will be touring the Eastern Mediterranean on a cruise in October and November.

Our ship will deposit us on October 5th in Fethiye at 8:30 AM, and depart again at 5:00 PM; then we sail to Kusadasi on the 6th, arriving at 8:00 AM, and departing at 11:30 PM. The final Turkish stop will be in Istanbul on the 8th of October, at 7:00 AM till 5:00 PM.

We definitely wish to enlist your assistance while we are in these ports.

During our last trip, with your help, we explored some of the sites in the area around Kusadasi (Ephesus, Priene, Miletus, Didyma, and Mary's house). Certainly, there must be other sites of interest in this area, but we would not be unhappy to revisit some of the same places. We especially adored Hedia, so if she is available, we want to go wherever she wants to take us!

We have no experience with Fethiye, so we place ourselves in your hands.

Last time, we toured much of the old city of Istanbul on our own, but would like to discuss with you possibilities for tours there as well.

Additionally, the final stop for the cruise is in Alexandria, Egypt. While the cruise line offers a three-day Egypt extension to see Cairo and the pyramids, we thought we would inquire with you if you have any contacts in Cairo or experience yourself arranging travel and guides there.

We appreciate any help you can offer us, and look forward to placing ourselves once more in your capable hands.

Do you remember us? We stayed with you in 2004. We are delighted to be returning to Turkey this summer. We would like your advice and assistance in making our travel plans.

Jackie and Bill Low and Art Curtis and myself will arrive in Istanbul on 24 August. We have made plans to charter a gulet in Bodrum from 31 Aug to 7 Sept. We will fly back to Houston TX from Istanbul on 10 September.

We want to spend 3 nights in Istanbul. We are looking for suggestions on place(s) to visit on our way to Bodrum. We would not mind traveling by train or private car. We want to spend 2 days in Bodrum, either before or after the boat trip. Another couple will join us for the boat trip. After departing the boat on 7 Sept, all of us (3 couples) would like to stop in Ephisus on the way back to Istanbul. Except for the international flights we have not made travel arrangements.

We will need a hotel in Istanbul. I looked at your web site and the Celal Sultan Hotel would be of interest. We would like a small hotel in Sultanahmet, with bright cheerful rooms and a rooftop terrace restaurant. We will also need a hotel in Bodrum.

On behalf of my friends and I, we would like to thank you for the great job done in preparing for our tour, booking of the hotels and making sure everything was done promptly. We never had any problems at all throughout our stay in Izmir and Istanbul and we thank you for making sure that everything went on smoothly. Our special mention also goes to Sevki and Kamal whom have been of great help to us in Ephesus Boutique Hotel. We also did enjoy our stay at your beautiful hotel, which was perfect for travellers like us.

We would also like to thank our tour guide Ersin, who is really one very knowledgeable guy. He took the extra mile to really explain to us the history of Turkey and also brought us to a local carpet shop where we learnt alot about carpets. By far, he had done a great job and was very patient enough with us as there were many toilet breaks taken during the tour :)

Last but not least, we would also like to thank the guys over at Turkoman Hotel for their great hospitality. Turkey had really made a lasting impression on us, a beautiful country and most of all with friendly and hospitable people.

Once again, thank you very much for your kind assistance and also being very patient with us with our constant requests and enquiries. We would definitely recommend you to our friends/families should they wish to travel to Turkey in the near future. Keep up the good work!

I just want to thank you for your help during my stay in Istanbul. Everything was so nice, the city, the peolple and the food! I miss the baklava so much! I really have to come back because four days in Istanbul is not enough and I'd also like to go to Ephesus and see the coast which is something I have been thinking about for a long time.
